Bridal Spring 2023 Trends

Michelle's Bridal & Tuxedo always looks forward to seeing what bridal fashion trends are trending for the new year, and 2023 seems to be shaping up to be an exciting year! From chic necklines to sophisticated silhouettes, there’s something for every bride-to-be. Here are some of our fave bridal spring 2023 trends to look out for!

Square Neckline

Although there are many classic bridal necklines to fall in love with, the square neckline has gained popularity in recent years as a popular wedding dress neckline! Square neck wedding gowns beautifully frame the decolletage. Straight across necklines are often framed by straps or sleeves to create the much-loved squared-off look! Square necklines can take on rounded corners, scooped shapes, or an angular shape. The square neck has been around for centuries, and brides are loving it this year more than ever!

Sweetheart Neckline

The sweetheart neckline is a distinctive heart-shaped style that emphasizes the décolletage, perfect for brides who want to create or accentuate curves. As well as lengthening the neck, it enhances the overall silhouette. In this season's bridal collections, plunging styles, lace-embellished bodices, and elegant floral appliqués will update this classic neckline!

High Neck

High-neck wedding dresses are effortlessly chic. You can choose from a dramatic high neck that reaches your chin to a more subtle middle neckline that hits your middle part of your neck, making this neckline an excellent choice for traditional church weddings or chic second looks! High necklines provide a lot of coverage, but they can also be stylish choices for modern brides!

Corsets

You may think that fabrics such as tulle, lace, satin, crepe, chiffon, Mikado or embellishments such as beading, feathers, pearls, crystals, and sequins are the most important parts of a wedding dress, but the construction of your gown is also an important factor. Corsets are the perfect way to incorporate structure into your bridal look, and they’re really having a big moment in fashion this year! In addition to providing internal support, this boudoir-inspired silhouette instantly shifts a bride's aesthetic in an elegant, captivating manner.

Sleek

Although lace and floral embellishments continue to be favorites, fewer embellishments don't mean fewer details.  Minimalist brides are likely looking for simplicity and tailoring in their wedding dresses.  A focus on "less is more" has led designers to swap lace and tulle for silk, mikado, and satin, and offset these sharp details with stylish add-ons for super sleek and modern looks.
