Have you started shopping for your perfect Bridal and Bridesmaids attire yet? What are you waiting for? There are 100's of gowns to choose from for you and your gals! However, the professional stylists at Michelle's Bridal and Tuxedo know that sometimes the colors, textures, fabrics and numerous style choices can be overwhelming. How will you ever choose? Do you want your Bridal gown and Bridesmaids gowns to match? Should they complement each other? Or do you want your gown to be the stand-alone star of the show, and you really do not want to have anything in common with your maids? These are the questions Brides usually ask themselves when first shopping for themselves and their maids. Our recommendation is simply this: Choose your Bridal Gown first. Then decide how your want your wedding party to complement you. Here are a few examples we've chosen to show you how to highlight and complement your look: perfect_pairs_4 The Complement: What goes with Maggie Sottero's Montgomery? We've chosen two different styles from the B2 Bridesmaid Collection by Jasmine Bridals to complement this new 2016 Spring gown. Style B183002 (top right) looks lovely with this bridal gown because of the similar lace bodice and lacey straps. The chiffon skirt flows softly, like the gorgeous tulle skirt on Montgomery. Style B183013 (center bottom) also has a chiffon skirt, but is much more simple, not to distract from the Bride, and has no lace. This gown offers a strapless look, but features an illusion neckline, making it very complementary to the neckline of Montgomery. We've chosen the Aspen Heather Grey Tuxedo by Jim's Formal Wear and matching vest to finish out the wedding party. The trendy three piece Grey tuxedo nicely highlights the silver beading of the Swarovski crystal belt on Montgomery, and works well for all seasons. Perfect_Pairs_2 The Perfect Match: Our next pick is Maggie Sottero's Blaise. What would you choose to go with this gown? We've chosen B2 Style B183016 (upper left). The bridesmaid style makes it the perfect choice for a Bride wanting a very matching look. The lace illusion neckline also nicely matches to the front of Blaise, but doesn't distract from the beauty of the bridal gown itself. The Havana Tan Tuxedo by Jim's Formal Wear is our choice for the perfectly matching Groom if choosing the ivory over light gold color for the bridal gown. The Bride and Groom will look stunning and again, perfectly matched, if that's the look you desire. Perfect_Pairs_1 The One-of-a-Kind: What could compete with Maggie Sottero's breath-taking gown Shelby? Nothing. You are the Bride. The absolute center of attention. You can elect to keep it that way with a stunning stand-alone gown, like this. Of course you want your maids to look amazing at your side, but you don't really want a perfectly matching look, consider choosing more than one bridesmaid style. This eclectic look is often a great choice for parties that a) cannot agree on a single gown for every maid or b) have a variety of ages and/or sizes of bridesmaids to please or c) just really don't want match. For this look we've chosen our favorite mix and match bridesmaids, the B2 and Belsoie Collections by Jasmine. B2 offers many bridesmaids styles that look great together, like styles B183004 (left), B183010 (center) and B183001 (right) shown above. This award winning company has custom fabric changes, and sizing available, so no matter how demanding your wishes they can accommodate your wedding party. Have a one-of-a-kind Groom too? Make a statement with the stylish plaid bow ties from Jim's Formal Wear. Nothing can compete with this handsome new trend. divider_1 Whether you want the perfect match or something not even close, the fashion experts at Michelle's Bridal and Tuxedo and Black Tie Tuxedo by Michelle's can help you make your vision a reality.
