August Diamond Bride

Brides name: Lauren Pool Date of Wedding: August 15, 2015 How they met: Through a mutual friend in 2009. How he proposed: On Memorial Day weekend in 2014, we went to dinner to Kofusion in downtown Champaign. Afterwards, we went for a walk around U of Is campus, which we did on our first date as well.  Ryan stopped me in front of the fountain outside of the Alumni building, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him! Wedding colors: Sapphire blue, gray, and silver How many bridesmaids: 5 Theme of Wedding: Happily ever after (to an extent, nothing Disney or animated!) Wedding Venues: Gibson City United Methodist Church and Pear Tree Estate in Champaign Why you chose to shop at Michelles Bridal: My sister went to Michelles for her wedding dress a couple of years ago.  I knew from that experience that the people there were very caring and genuine, and that they would take care of me the same way they took care of my sister!  I never considered going anywhere else.  Everyone has been so helpful, kind, and sincerely happy for me, it makes being a bride just that much better!   Part of your wedding you are most looking forward to: Marrying Ryan!  I also hope to soak up every moment and just enjoy everything that we have spent so much time planning for!
