Brides name:   Samantha Wichman Grooms name:  Tim Brandt Date of Wedding:  Saturday, September 20, 2014 How they met:  Tim and I met through our mutual friend, Andrew.  I went to Bradley University with Andrew, and Tim & Andrew are both from Farmer City. During the summer of 2009, Andrew invited me to go boating with him and some friends on Clinton Lake. Tim was also at the lake that day.  After that, Tim and I started hanging out and the rest is history! How he proposed:  On a nice day last June, Tim told me he wanted to take me by Clinton Lake to see all the boaters.  He proposed to me at the lake, right where we met.  We then headed to Farmer City to tell his parents the good news. Tim had planned a surprise Engagement Party for us, and all our close friends and family were there. It was such an amazing day!
