Ashley Wenzel and Josh Drake's super fun wedding is just around the corner and the invitations are in the mail! Don't worry...if you didn't get one, we'll be following up with lots of wedding pictures to show you how this truly unique couple tied the knot.
For now, I'll just give you a sneak peek at the invite and how this fun and casual couple has brought tremendous joy to the unpleasantries of sending out 'formal' invitations.
Ashley said "We're not exactly the types to cordially invite people anywhere, so the casual-esque nature of the wording worked really well for us." I think it's AMAZING. I laughed with great joy and immediatly shared this with my own nerdy friends who are getting married. My favorite part...the "awkward but enthusiastic dancing". I think that works for most receptions I've been to!
The homeade invitation clearly speak to the personalities of the couple and encompasses many of the unique things about the wedding. On top of being cost effective Ashley said "...I can almost guarantee that you will never find a Batman/Superman/Skyrim/Star Wars/Legend of Zelda invite out there." And I bet she's right!
For the reception, Ashley and Josh have shown their love of music. For the tables favors, homeade cardstock boxes with handstamped detail will serve as creative take home treats, complete with delicious handwrapped and decorated chocolates enclosed. If you look back a to the

Every detail of the wedding and reception says so much about this amazing couple. I am personally looking forward to seeing this all come together and sharing the final details in the 'after' pictures!
