That really just happened?...
When John Steinbeck said "the best laid schemes of mice and men go often awry" he must have been speaking of wedding planning. It seems that no matter how much time, effort or money you put into your planning
something will inevitably go wrong.

For newlyweds Audrey and Kyle,
something was an understatement. From the night they met until the day they were married, this couple has had their share of less than perfect circumstances.
According to Audrey, on their wedding day "...the bus was late, the flowers were pink roses (supposed to be white, anything BUT roses), my dress was locked in a room at the church, so I couldn't get dressed! And then my ring bearer wouldn't walk down the aisle. After we left the church, the bus broke down four times!"
When asked about her advice for handling all of that, Audrey replied "...don't let the things that go wrong ruin your day. I had everything planned to the last, tiny detail, and things still went wrong. There are things that will be out of your control, and you can't let them ruin the point of the day; You're getting married!"

Despite the strange chain of unplanned events this charming couple was unfazed and had many wonderful, funny and sentimental things throughout the day, like Audrey's mother's scripture reading, that will continue to be the highlight of their wedding. When asked about the funniest part of the wedding Audrey told us "My flower girl was named Audrey also. First, she had to be drug down the aisle by her mom. Then, every time the pastor said 'Audrey', she would loudly announce, 'He said Audrey! He said Audrey!' When they told her to be quiet, she yelled 'I don't want to be quiet!' It was hilarious."
Every Bride dreams of a perfect wedding day, but sometimes Mother Nature, or other unforeseen circumstances may change all that. This amazing couple had the time of their lives, and at the end of the day they were celebrating their union, and not dwelling on everything else that happened that day.
Above all else Audrey commented that her favorite part of the day was "saying I will."

"Love conquers all" might be a more appropriate quote for Audrey and Kyle's wedding day than John Steinbeck after all. Their wedding day was one filled with unmatched love and the ability to conquer any obstacle. Congratulations Audrey and Kyle.
